Hands-On Practical Ministry: Required Outreaches

The KTBC family is a unique blend of believers from all walks of life and ministry. Our student body includes bishops, pastors, church leaders, and dedicated lay members from a variety of denominations and backgrounds. Ages range from young adults to seasoned ministers, creating a rich environment for mutual learning and mentorship. What unites us is a shared passion for sound biblical doctrine and a deep commitment to pursuing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our personal lives and ministries.

Theory meets practice at KTBC. A core component of our training is mandatory participation in quarterly evangelistic outreaches.

  • Purpose: Students engage in personal evangelism and teach seminars in surrounding cities and villages, held in local churches and open-air meetings.
  • Partnership: We connect with local pastors and bishops to host these events, supporting existing church bodies.
  • Support & Reward: Transport is provided by the college, and active participation is awarded with additional college credit. These outreaches are vital for applying classroom learning and fulfilling the call to reach Kenya for Christ.

Commitment to Godly Conduct

KTBC is committed to maintaining a community environment that honors Scripture. Students are expected to uphold biblical standards of behavior.

  • Process: Should a student act contrary to these standards, the college’s approach is restorative, beginning with counseling.
  • Accountability: If unscriptural behavior persists, it may lead to a temporary suspension and, in cases of continued refusal to align, permanent dismissal from the program. This process ensures the integrity and spiritual health of our community.
