Transfer of Credits Policy

KTBC accepts credits from other accredited institutions under these conditions:

  1. The originating school must be government-approved or accredited.
  2. Official transcripts must come directly from that school's administration.
  3. Each transferred course must have at least 24 hours of in-class instruction and transfers as 3 credits.
  4. Courses must be theological or directly related to kingdom ministry (e.g., Christian education, communications, church history).

Transfer of Credits Policy

Students may receive 3 credits for verified, sustained ministry experience, such as:

  • Serving as a senior or associate pastor of a church plant that lasted one year.
  • Serving as a lead/associate pastor or elder in an established church for one year.
  • Serving as a Sunday School Superintendent or Youth Pastor for one year.
  • Serving as a Bishop in a denomination for one year.

Residence Requirements

  • Certificate Students: Must complete at least 14 courses of the 30 at KTBC.
  • Bachelor's Students: Must complete at least 15 courses at KTBC to be awarded a KTBC degree.

Library Policy

Our well-stocked theological library is a key resource.

  • KTBC Students: May check out books free of charge.
  • External Members: May check out books for a fee of Kshs. 100.
    The library contains over 1,200 volumes, including commentaries, Bible dictionaries, and practical ministry resources.
