The purpose of Kenya Theological Bible College is to equip minster and Christian leaders to have sound faith and to be effective in ministry. The college also serves a very practical purpose by being approved by the Kenyan Department of Education to offer a “Certificate in Biblical Education” (one-year program; 45 quarter units). This fulfills the national legal qualifications to become an ordained minister in the country of Kenya.
Students who attend come from many different denominational backgrounds; what we share in common is a belief in the traditional evangelical position of theology. The statement of our faith will further elaborate upon that.
KTBC was founded in 2017 by Northern California Bible College in Pleasanton, California, United States. The former president, Pastor David Sell, oversees a non profit organization, entitled Educational Missions, which raises financial support for KTBC.
Educational Missions was established to help develop strong, biblically based, non denominational Bible Colleges in third world countries. WAAST in Owerri, Nigeria, was the first college started by Northern Calif. Bible College, overseen by Pastor David Sell. Today, WAAST has graduated over 1000 graduates who are pastoring churches all over Africa and Europe. have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.

As part of the philosophy of ministry, KTBC conducts regular evangelistic and teaching outreaches throughout Kenya. Seminars are usually conducted in an open-air format, with invitations to the given community to attend for no charge. The Gospel is preached; special music is provided, and an invitation to come to Christ is always given. An important element to every outreach meeting is an opportunity to pray for the sick.
Every other year, Pastor David Sell comes from America to conduct a Pastor’s Conference on the subject of End-times. This is done with no charge to the attenders. The conference occurs in December during the same weekend as the KTBC graduation.

2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21
3. We believe that the one true God is revealed through the Scriptures as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God has manifested Himself to mankind in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:1-3; John 15:26; Matthew 28:19
4. We believe that man was created good and in the image of God but through voluntary transgression is lost and spiritually dead.
Genesis 1:27; 2:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22; Romans 3:9-10

8. We believe in the “Baptism with the Holy Spirit” as a definite experience available to all believers, evidenced by power, joy, and the ability to speak in other tongues. Matthew 3:11; Mk. 16:17; Acts 2:4; 11:16
9. We believe in miracles, prophetic utterances, and supernatural gifts given by the Holy Spirit to the church today. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

He will return from heaven in great glory and power, climaxing this age with judgment on the ungodly and the resurrection and translation of the righteous. Matthew 16:27; 24:30; Acts 3:20; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8; 2:8; Jude 14-15; Revelation 1:7
